Behind that is an old PC I installed pfsense on which routes all of my outgoing internet traffic to a VPN provider. My internet provider is AT&T so my internet connection starts with the modem/router combo that they provided me. I have a good internet connection, IP seems to be hidden, and dnsleaktest doesn't show any leaks. Currently everything seems to work how I want, just no remote access. Security and privacy are important to me so I want to make sure I'm not opening myself up to something also. I THINK that I need to use a dynamic DNS client on my router to make this work, but since the router gets its IP from my firewall device (private IP?), I think I will be missing something (maybe set up port forwarding?). I don't know all the lingo but I'm trying to learn. I'd like to be able to connect to my router at home as if I were there and see all of my devices, remote desktop connect to my home PC, etc. I don't know the terminology so I don't think I recognize the answer if it's out there.
